Redirect & status data

Browsers cannot check HTTP status on other domains, so you'll need to do the following:
1. Crawl the old URLs in Screaming Frog in list mode
2. Go to Mode > List → paste your old URLs → Configuration > Spider > Advanced → tick “Always Follow Redirects”
3. Crawl the site
4. Go to Reports > Redirects > All Redirects and export as a CSV

This is Screaming Frog’s own recommended export for migration auditing: it includes every uploaded URL and its response (200s and 404s included), the final destination of every redirect, and the number of hops in each chain. You could technically provide a spreadsheet of your own, but you'd have to check every single redirect manually, which would take you ages, so just use Screaming Frog.
